Sarbuk Rural District

Sarbuk Rural District (Persian: دهستان ساربوك)[3] is in Sarbuk District of Qasr-e Qand County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Sarbak.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was (as a part of the former Qasr-e Qand District of Nik Shahr County) 17,728 in 3,384 households.[5] There were 19,625 inhabitants in 4,326 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 8,247 in 1,982 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county and became a part of the newly established Qasr-e Qand County.[4] The largest of its 19 villages was Sarbak (now a city),[7] with 2,448 people.[2]
