Shiv Shakti Temple

Shiv Shakti Temple, Bhagalpur is a Hindu Temple in Bhagalpur. It is devoted to Lord Shiva (Narmadeshwarnath) and Goddess Parvati. It is one of the Narmadeshwarnath temples. It is an important temple of Hinduism. It is especially crowded during Maha Shivaratri and Sawan Month .It gathers local people during Aarti every evening.[1][2][3]

Design

It is built according to Nagara style architecture (North Indian). The temple is more than 100 years old and was renovated in 1990. It has a beautiful golden shikhar. This temple is located near Akashvani Bhagalpur.

Worship

In morning the day starts with a harmonious bhajan. During the holy month of Sawan, this temple gets no rest as Kawariya pass through before visiting Baidyanath temple.This temple is also busy during Maha Shivaratri.[4]
