Sigar Rural District

Sigar Rural District (Persian: دهستان سيگار)[3] is in the Central District of Lamerd County, Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Sigar-e Bala.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 9,934 in 2,138 households.[4] There were 10,828 inhabitants in 2,724 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 10,953 in 2,999 households. The largest of its 32 villages was Sigar-e Bala, with 1,467 people.[2]
