Soveyseh District
Soveyseh District (Persian: بخش سویسه) is in Karun County, Khuzestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Abu Nageh.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, its population (as a Soveyseh Rural District of the Central District of Ahvaz County) was 18,910 in 3,299 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 19,847 people in 4,313 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 23,180 inhabitants in 5,946 households,[2] by which time the rural district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Karun County.[3]
