Teymurabad, Sistan and Baluchestan

Teymurabad (Persian: تیمورآباد) is a village in, and the capital of, Teymurabad Rural District of Teymurabad District, Hamun County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 351 in 98 households, when it was in the former Shib Ab District of Zabol County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 475 people in 108 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 399 people in 105 households.[2]

By the time of the census, Shib Ab District had been separated from Zabol County to form Hamun County. It was then divided into the Central and Teymurabad Districts.[3]
