Zamkan-e Shomali Rural District
Zamkan-e Shomali Rural District Rural District (Persian: دهستان زمکان شمالی) is in Zamkan District of Salas-e Babajani County, Kermanshah province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Khomgaran,[2] whose population at the National Census of 2016 was 108 in 29 households.[3]

In 2019, Zamkan Rural District's name was changed to Zamkan-e Jonubi Rural District, separated from the Central District, and became, along with the new Zamkan-e Shomali Rural District, a part of the newly established Zamkan District.[2]
