Notes

  • Evans described this species as having a single seta on the palpal tibia; there are two according to Baker (1968: 992).
  • Species redescribed and all active stases figured, not to be confused with Brachytydeus stephani (André, 1987: 152–153).
  • Differences between Brachytydeus reticulatus and B. bedfordiensis are given by Baker (1968: 992).
  • Synonymy based on type slides by Kaźmierski (1998: 301)
  • Synonymy between reticulata/us and bedfordiensis not cited by Silva et al. (2016).
