Further extended as saṃnoṅ, saṃnaṅ (compensation; reimbursement; repayment; etc), from which Thai สำนอง was derived.

Compare Modern Khmer ស្នង (snɑɑng), សង (sɑɑng), សំណង (sâmnâng).
