เขา • (kǎo)

1. he; she; they.
   • Psalm 64:8, KJV:

     ทุกคนที่เห็นเขาจะหนีไป

     túk-kon tîi hěn kǎo jà nǐi bpai

     all that see them shall flee away.

   • Psalm 107:30, KJV:

     แล้วเขาก็ยินดีเพราะเขามีความเงียบ และพระองค์ทรงนำเขามายังท่าที่เขาปรารถนา

     lɛ́ɛo kǎo gɔ̂ɔ yin-dii prɔ́ kǎo mii kwaam-ngîiap lɛ́ prá-ong song nam kǎo maa yang tâa tîi kǎo bpràat-tà-nǎa

     Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.

• The third person pronoun can be used specifically or nonspecifically, such as "เขาว่า..." (kǎo wâa...; "they say...").
• The first person pronoun is usually used with the second person pronoun ตัวเอง (dtuua-eeng) or เตง (dteeng).
