สิทธิเก็บกิน

From สิทธิ (sìt-tí, “right”) +‎ เก็บกิน (“to store benefits for enjoyment”, literally “to keep and enjoy”).

Probably first used on 16 March 1930, when the fourth book of the Civil and Commercial Code of Thailand was promulgated.

สิทธิเก็บกิน • (sìt-tí-gèp-gin)

   • 1930, พระราชกฤษฎีกาให้ใช้บทบัญญัติบรรพ ๔ แห่งประมวลกฎหมายแพ่งและพาณิชย์ ลงวันที่ ๑๖ มีนาคม ๒๔๗๓:

     มาตรา ๑๔๑๗ อสังหาริมทรัพย์อาจต้องตกอยู่ในบังคับสิทธิเก็บกินอันเป็นเหตุให้ผู้ทรงสิทธินั้นมีสิทธิครอบครอง ใช้ และถือเอาซึ่งประโยชน์แห่งทรัพย์สินนั้น

     mâat-dtraa nʉ̀ng pan sìi rɔ́ɔi sìp-jèt à-sǎng-hǎa-rí-má-sáp àat dtɔ̂ng dtòk yùu nai bang-káp sìt-tí-gèp-gin an bpen-hèet hâi pûu-song-sìt-tí nán mii sìt-tí krɔ̂ɔp-krɔɔng chái lɛ́ tʉ̌ʉ-ao sʉ̂ng bprà-yòot hɛ̀ng sáp-sǐn nán

     Section 1417 An immovable property may be subjected to a usufruct, by which the usufructuary is entitled to possess, use, and derive benefits from that property.

     มาตรา ๑๔๑๘ สิทธิเก็บกินนั้นจะก่อให้เกิดโดยมีกำหนดเวลาหรือตลอดชีวิตแห่งผู้ทรงสิทธิก็ได้

     Section 1418 A usufruct may be created either for a period of time or for the life of the usufructuary.

     มาตรา ๑๔๒๐ เมื่อสิทธิเก็บกินสิ้นลง ผู้ทรงสิทธิต้องส่งทรัพย์สินคืนแก่เจ้าของ

     Section 1420 The usufructuary is obliged to return the property to the owner after the end of the usufruct.
