Watch Danielle Radcliffe, a Teach For America seventh grade language arts educator in Philadelphia, share why she loves teaching and the satisfaction she gets helping her students excel at reading and writing. She credits an early interest in reading her mom’s Vanity Fair and Ebony magazines with helping develop her reading skills as a child, and used that experience to find what her students are really interested in, so they can learn to read about their favorite subjects. In just one year, her lucky 90 students have already raised their reading levels by nearly 2 years.
