Physicist
Watch Donna Stokes, Ph. D., Associate Professor of Physics at Houston University, share how she uses her childhood love of solving puzzles in conducting her laboratory research in physics. On one project, she recalls the excitement of being at NASA’s Johnson Space Center working with astronauts as they performed experiments growing semiconductor crystals in outer space. As a college professor she advises young students that they will enter college with a big advantage if they hone their math and critical thinking skills as early as possible.
