Ganking is an important part of Mobile Legends, and it’s a way to suddenly turn the tides of battle without your enemies noticing. Read the situation first. Before you start ganking, it’s best to know what’s happening around the battlefield before starting one. Check the lanes and see if an ally needs your help or if an enemy is clearing lanes without anyone looking.
- It’s recommended to push lanes and play it safe if you are behind in EXP or Gold. This is because enemies could get an advantage when they kill you.
- If enemies are killing turrets, it is best to defend your base before ganking.
- It’s best to gank once your Ultimate is ready (CC/Burst skill included, too).
- Avoid over-ganking. This is when you gank too much in the game to the point where you lose pressure in your lane.

Bring teammates into ganking (if needed). Unless if your hero has crowd control skills, it’s recommended to get teammates to join you. This will more likely kill the enemy upon successful activation. For example, if you are a tank, you may need the entire team or your fighter to initiate a gank against the jungler.

Check the bushes. In most cases, initiating the ganking strategy requires the bushes. If you are a tank, it’s best to check the bushes for any enemy heroes to disrupt any future attacks. Once the bushes are clear, hide in the bush while enemies are alone.

Know your distance between turrets/enemies. It’s advisable to get close to the enemy as soon as possible. If you initiate an attack too far, enemies can swiftly escape and the benefits of pushing the lane quickly will be reduced.

Initiate the strategy (Tanks/Fighters). As a tank/fighter, you should be the one that starts the strategy since you have high HP. Your skills are also a game-changer as it can bring enemies to a surprise. For example, you may have to allow your Atlas to use his ultimate before attacking, or you can rely on your Guinevere to use her second skill to bring enemies airborne.
- Assassins can also initiate attacks, but it’s best to play it safe and go from behind as assassin durability is low.
