How to Get Back to Pandaria

New adventure awaits in Blizzard’s expansion for World of Warcraft, Mists of Pandaria. But suppose you need to make a quick stop in Stormwind or Orgrimmar-- how are you going to get back? The key to returning to the home of the mysterious Pandaren is knowing where the portals are in your faction’s capital city.

Part 1

Part 1 of 2:

The Alliance

Go to Stormwind, the main capital city of the Alliance.
- If you are in Ironforge, you can take the Deep run Tram found in Tinker Town.
- If you are in Dalaran, you can use the portal inside the Silver Enclave.

Walk, ride or fly to the Eastern Earthshrine. It is floating on an island, outside of Stormwind’s walls, northwest of Stormwind Keep.

Go just west of there to the island with all of the Tushui Pandaren on it. There is also a large Pandaren-style arch and an orange hot air balloon to help you find it.

Click the mage portal being cast by Ang the Wise. When you mouse of the portal, a tooltip pops up that says, “Portal to Paw’don Village.”

Part 2

Part 2 of 2:

The Horde

Go to Orgrimmar, the main capital city of the Horde.
- If you are in the Undercity, you can take a zeppelin directly to Orgrimmar.
- If you are in Dalaran, you can use the portal inside the Sunreaver’s Sanctuary.

Walk, ride or fly to the Valley of Honor. It is the easternmost sector of Orgrimmar.

Go to the camp of the Huojin Pandaren.
- Look for the large hot air balloon anchored by a rope.
- The camp is almost in the exact center of the Valley of Honor.

Click on the portal that is being cast in front of Ji Firepaw.

The is no longer a portal back to Pandaria. How do I get back?

There is a portal in Orgrimmar to Jade Forest. There will be a similar one in Stormwind.

What do I do if Ji Firepaw doesn't have a portal open?

Community Answer

First go to the Dalaran portal in The Drag near the Valley of Honor. You can then easily get to Pandaria by using the portals there. It's the portal "Vale of Eternal Blossoms" near all the other faction portals.
