The mudslide is a decadently delicious drink made with Kahlua, Irish cream, milk and chocolate. It's like a melted chocolate sundae with alcohol. To learn how to make one, just follow these steps.
Ingredients
- 1 fl oz (30 mL) of vodka
- 1 fl oz (30 mL) of Kahlua coffee liquor
- 1 fl oz (30 mL) of Bailey’s Irish cream
- 3 fl oz (89 mL) of heavy cream
- 1 fl oz (30 mL) of chocolate syrup
Steps
Classic Mudslide

1Drizzle 1 fl oz (30 mL) of chocolate syrup in a rocks glass. Fill up the glass with as much ice as you want.
- Some people like to add the chocolate last instead. You can set it aside and drizzle it on top of your mudslide last.[1]
- You may serve the drink in a chilled martini glass if desired.

2Shake the vodka, Kahlua, Bailey’s, and heavy cream. In a cocktail shaker, shake together 3 fl oz (89 mL) of heavy cream, 1 fl oz (30 mL) of vodka, 1 fl oz (30 mL) of Kahlua, and 1 fl oz (30 mL) of Bailey’s.Advertisement

3Pour the mixture into the rocks glass. Fill it up to the top. Serve immediately.
Frozen Mudslide

1Pour all of the ingredients into a blender. Put 1 fl oz (30 mL) of chocolate syrup, 3 fl oz (89 mL) of heavy cream, 1 fl oz (30 mL) of vodka, 1 fl oz (30 mL) of Kahlua, and 1 fl oz (30 mL) of Bailey’s into a blender. Top off the blender with ice.

2Blend until smooth. Puree the mixture until it reaches the texture you like. It should resemble a chocolate milkshake when you're done.[2]

3Pour it into a hurricane glass. Drink the frozen mudslide as is, or top it off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and more chocolate syrup.
Wild White Slippery Mudslide

1Pour the Irish Cream, Kahlua, and vodka into a shaker. Add 1 fl oz (30 mL) of vodka, 1 fl oz (30 mL) of Kahlua, and 1 fl oz (30 mL) of Bailey’s Irish cream to a shaker. Shake it up until it's fully blended.[3]

2Mix in 0.25 fl oz (7.4 mL) of butterscotch schnapps cream. This replaces the chocolate for a wild white spin on the classic mudslide.

3Pour it into a hurricane glass. Top it off with whipped cream and a drizzle of butterscotch syrup.
