If the phone number you registered with WeChat is acting abnormally and your account is blocked, you'll need to change the phone number associated with that account. Phone numbers offered by virtual network operators (like Skype Out, Google Voice, RingCentral) cannot be used to unblock accounts, so you'll need to use another number registered to your name through a mobile provider. Go to https://support.wechat.com/cgi-bin/mmsupport-bin/readtemplate?t=weixin_unlock_self&step=0. This will take you to a WeChat support form where you can attempt to unblock your account.
- If your WeChat account was registered in Mainland China, click For mobile numbers in Mainland China, tap here to unblock.

Select your ID type. It's how you'll identify your WeChat account. If you don't know your WeChat ID, use your mobile number, email, or QQ ID.

Enter your WeChat ID, mobile number, email, or QQ ID. In the fields beneath "Banned WeChat Account," enter the appropriate information.

Select a country and enter your phone number next to "Send verification code to." Use the number associated with your WeChat account here.

Enter the CAPTCHA characters. You'll see the code on the right. If you can't see it well, click Try a different one and you might get one that's easier to see.
