Abbasabad, Darreh Shahr
Abbasabad (Persian: عباس اباد, also Romanized as ‘Abbāsābād)[3] is a village in Zarrin Dasht Rural District of the Central District of Darreh Shahr County, Ilam province, Iran. The village is populated by Kurds.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,835 in 350 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,774 people in 399 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,695 people in 455 households; it was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
