Bazneh

Bazneh (Persian: بازنه, also Romanized as Bāzneh, Bazaneh, and Bāzeneh)[3] was a village in Qarah Kahriz Rural District of the Central District of Shazand County, Markazi province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 3,900 in 988 households.[2] By the time of the following census in 2011, Bazneh and the neighboring village of Hafteh reported a combined population of 7,603 people in 2,283 households, and the rural district had been transferred to the newly established Qarah Kahriz District.[4]

In July 2013, Bazneh and Hafteh were merged to become the city of Shahbaz.[5]
