Zalian Rural District

Zalian Rural District (Persian: دهستان زاليان) is in Zalian District of Shazand County, Markazi province, Iran.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 2,911 in 771 households.[3] There were 2,408 inhabitants in 754 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 1,753 in 638 households. The largest of its 23 villages was Zalian, with 444 people.[2]
