Hafteh

Hafteh (Persian: هفته; also known as Hafta)[3] was a village in Qarah Kahriz Rural District of the Central District of Shazand County, Markazi province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,681 in 691 households.[2] By the time of the following census in 2011, Hafteh and the neighboring village of Bazneh reported a combined population of 7,603 people in 2,283 households, and the rural district had been transferred to the newly established Qarah Kahriz District.[4]

In July 2013, Hafteh and Bazneh were merged to become the city of Shahbaz.[5]
