Borborud-e Gharbi District

Borborud-e Gharbi District (Persian: بخش بربرود غربی) is in Aligudarz County, Lorestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Shahpurabad.[3]

Not to be confused with Borborud-e Sharqi District, Borborud-e Gharbi Rural District, or Borborud-e Sharqi Rural District.

The National Census in 2011 counted 10,131 people in 2,345 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 9,335 inhabitants in 2,467 households, by which time the rural district had separated from the district in the establishment of Borborud-e Gharbi District.[2]
