The Central District of Kavar County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان کوار) is in Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Kavar.

At the National Census in 2006, its population (as a part of the former Kavar District of Shiraz County) was 51,576 in 11,164 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 55,633 people in 14,205 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Kavar County.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 60,714 inhabitants in 16,930 households.[2]
