Kavar Rural District
Kavar Rural District (Persian: دهستان كوار)[3] is in the Central District of Kavar County, Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Nowruzan.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Kavar District of Shiraz County) was 23,118 in 4,982 households.[5] There were 23,071 inhabitants in 6,061 households at the following census of 2011, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Kavar County.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 23,120 in 6,544 households. The largest of its 31 villages was Akbarabad (now a city),[4] with 5,817 people.[2]
