Dasht-e Abbas District

Dasht-e Abbas District (Persian: بخش دشت عباس) is in Dehloran County, Ilam province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Dasht-e Abbas.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, the region's population (as a part of Musian District) was 9,667 in 1,525 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 11,697 people in 2,250 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 11,017 inhabitants in 2,272 households.[2]

In March 2017, Abu Ghoveyr and Dasht-e Abbas Rural Districts were transferred from Musian District to establish Dasht-e Abbas District. At the same time, Dalpari Rural District was established in Musian District.[3]
