Gurab Rural District

Gurab Rural District (Persian: دهستان گوراب) is in Sarab Meymeh District of Dehloran County, Ilam province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Gurab-e Sofla. Prior to its creation, its constituent villages were in Zarrinabad District. In May 2013, the city of Meymeh and certain villages were transferred from the district towards the establishment of the new district, which was divided into two rural districts. Meymeh was appointed as its capital.[3]

At the most recent National Census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 626 in 169 households. The largest of its six villages was Gurab-e Sofla, with 307 people.[2]
