Kabir Kuh Rural District

Kabir Kuh Rural District (Persian: دهستان کبیرکوه) is in Gachi District of Malekshahi County, Ilam province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Qaleh Juq. Prior to the formation of the rural district, its constituent villages were in Gachi Rural District of the former Malekshahi District of Mehran County[3]

There were 2,086 inhabitants in 517 households at the National Census of 2011,[4] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Malekshahi County.[3] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,210 in 576 households. The largest of its 13 villages was Qaleh Juq, with 1,468 people.[2]
