Radkan Rural District

Radkan Rural District (Persian: دهستان رادكان) is in Radkan District of Chenaran County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Marichgan.[3]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the Central District) was 11,188 in 2,780 households.[4] There were 14,908 inhabitants in 3,342 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 14,486 in 3,320 households. The largest of its 47 villages was Qezel Hesar, with 3,570 people.[2]

After the census, the rural district was separated from the Central District and Radkan District established, with two rural districts and the city of Radkan as its capital.[3]
