Every AOL account can have up to seven screen names. However, the first name you registered your account with is your main screen name and cannot be changed at anytime. Other screen names you create can be changed or deleted. Read on to step 1 to learn how to add a screen name to your AOL account.

    Go to the screen names page: https://my.screenname.aol.com.

    Log into your account using your main screen name and password on the given boxes.

    Click "Create."

    Enter the answer to your security question in the Answer field.

    Follow the on-screen instructions, and enter your password.

    Choose "Parental Control" settings. You can select whether the account is for mature, young teens, even kids only.
