    • A list of all the contacts and phone numbers you've previously blocked will appear.
  4. 4
Tap Block Contact. It's at the bottom of the screen.
    • If your list of blocked callers extends beyond the screen, you'll have to scroll down.

  • Question
If I block a contact, can they still text or iMessage me?
    Community Answer

Yes. However, when they do, the phone will mark them as blocked instead of their phone number. (If they are not in your contacts).
  • Question
If I block someone on my phone, will they know?
    Community Answer
    Community Answer
Kind of. If you block them, they won't be able to message you back. So where it says "Text Message" or "iMessage" and where you can type your message, in it will tell you, "You can't reply to this conversation"; that's how they can tell they're blocked. That person will not find out unless they try to get into contact with you.
