1Go to https://www.reddit.com in a web browser. If you’re not already signed in to your Reddit account, enter your username and password to sign in now.

2Navigate to the subreddit on which you want to post.Advertisement

3Click Submit a new text post. It’s in the right column of the subreddit. The exact text on this link may vary.
- You can also insert bullets into a comment. If you want to do that, go to the post, then click the comment box.

4Press * to create your first bullet. The asterisk will convert to a bullet point once the post is live.

5Press the space bar and type the first item in the list. This inserts the necessary space between the bullet and the text you input. The format is [*][space][text].
- Here’s an example:* This is the first item in my list.

6Press ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return after the first list item. This brings you to a new line, where you can now add your second bullet point.
- Continue adding bullet points with this format until you’re finished with your post.

7Click Submit. Your bullet points now appear in your Reddit post.
- If you were posting bullet points in a comment, click Save to post.
