Drawing a Realistic Bunny
-
1Draw two intersecting circles. Add a big oblong shape on one side.

-
3Add almond shapes over the head for the ears. Draw the forelegs using vertical curves, the hind legs being thicker can be drawn using circles and oblongs as guide. Add a half circle on the rear for the bunny’s short tail.
-
4Add the eyes and whiskers. The face and ears can be drawn to appear furry using very short slanted strokes.
-
5Do the same “furry” effect on the sketched outline of the bunny’s body.
-
6Color the drawing. Or take a soft pencil and add shading.
- Another option is to use water-soluble pencils. Roughly shade over an area, and then go back over the pencil with a wet brush.

QuestionHow do I get the length of the ears right, so they're not too big or too small?CraftsmartTop AnswererUsing a pencil, lightly sketch out different sizes. Try longer ones and shorter ones, and once you find the one you like the best, erase any extra lines and keep the ones you like. It is difficult to get the exact length the first time, but after sketching a little and working with it, you can achieve it.
