Ingredients

  • 1 pint plain yogurt (the thicker the better)
  • Several ice cubes
  • A generous pinch of salt
  • Freshly pealed-off Garlic bulbs (optional)
  • A little chopped fresh mint (optional)
  • 1 pint water

    Yes, it's a very good summer drink. People in different parts of the world drink it in summer and have different names for it. In India they call it lassi. It cools you down, as yogurt is an cooling agent. We even sometimes take it for gastric or acidity problems. It's very good if you add a few leaves of mint to it as well.
