Cola drinks, these days, are pretty unhealthy with all of the artificial ingredients they are made of. You can make it yourself with much healthier ingredients.

Ingredients

(Makes one serving)

  • 6-10 ounces of carbonated water
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • 3/4 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 3/4 tablespoon of lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

Steps

    Pour 3/4 of a teaspoon of lime juice and 1/4 teaspoon of lemon juice into a standard drinking cup

    In a separate container, melt 2 tablespoons (29.6 ml) of honey and 1 tablespoon (14.8 ml) of brown sugar

    Pour the honey and brown sugar mixture into the cup of lemon/lime juice

    Add 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

    Stir, and let cool for just a minute or two (if needed)

    Add 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract (it will start to evaporate the flavor if the mixture is not room temperature!)

    Pour soda/carbonated water down the side into a cold 3/4 full glass club.
