How to Make a Simple Death Notebook

Are you jealous of Light Yagami because he has a Death Note and you don't? Well not anymore! Prepare to be the one most envied because now you're gonna learn how to make one yourself! Just follow these simple steps!

Steps

Get a journal, any kind, just no ring, a black folder, a glue stick and scissors.

Go online, go to Google Images and type 'Death Note Letters'. It will show you the D/E/A/T/H/N/O/T/E letters. Or you can draw them yourself and cut them out and paste them on the notebook if you want.

Cut the letters out. It does not have to be perfect because the background will be black. Leave the letters somewhere safe.

Get your folder and cut out the pockets.

Cut the folder as the same size as the journal and glue it on top.

Glue the letters together on the cover.

What do I write in it? I've never watched Death Note.

I recommend watching it. Basically the Death Notebook was possessed by a "God of death," but if it falls into human hands, they can use it to kill anyone they please. You write down the name of the person you wish to die (it's a heart attack if the cause isn't specified), and they'll die in 40 seconds. It's just for pretending, though, this would mainly be used for cosplay or as a fan/collector's item. If you do decide to write names in it, though, be sure to keep it private so you don't get into trouble.

Does the ink from my pen need to be really white or not?

Yes, if you want it to look authentic. Silver would probably be the only exception.

If I just glue the letters that I printed onto the notebook, wouldn't there be a bump or something?

Liquid glue doesn't leave a bump if you're careful about it. Make sure not to put too much glue on, or it will seep, but too little glue will cause it to peel and look less authentic.

Make sure you have permission from your parents to make this so you won't get in trouble by a tattle-tail friend of yours. You never know who you can really trust.

Never write anyone's name in it that you intend to do harm to. You can get into a lot of trouble for it.
