Central District (Bampur County)
The Central District of Bampur County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان بمپور) is in Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Bampur.[3]

At the National Census in 2006, its population (as a part of the former Bampur District of Iranshahr County) was 31,455 in 6,072 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 37,395 people in 8,808 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 43,763 inhabitants in 11,144 households.[2]
On 13 August 2017, Bampur District was separated from Iranshahr County to establish Bampur County, which was further divided into two districts, four rural districts, and three cities.[3]
