The Central District of Khondab County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان خنداب) is in Markazi province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Khondab.

At the National Census in 2006, its population (as a part of the former Khondab District of Arak County) was 25,692 in 6,229 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 25,565 people in 6,959 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Khondab County.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 24,146 inhabitants in 7,110 households.[2]
