Qareh Chay District

Qareh Chay District (Persian: بخش قره چائ) is in Khondab County, Markazi province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population (as a part of the former Khondab District of Arak County) was 33,420 in 8,846 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 32,697 people in 9,722 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Khondab County.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 29,872 inhabitants in 9,682 households.[2]
