Madevan (Persian: مادوان, also Romanized as Mādevān and Mādavān; also known as Mādehvān)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Fasarud Rural District of Fasarud District, Darab County, Fars province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,724 in 427 households, when it was in the Central District.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,694 people in 469 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,488 people in 467 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]

After the census, Fasarud Rural District and Paskhan Rural District were separated from the Central District in the establishment of Fasarud District.[6] In addition, the villages of Paskhan and Rostaq were elevated to the status of cities.
