Rostaq Rural District (Darab County)

Rostaq Rural District (Persian: دهستان رستاق)[3] is in Rostaq District of Darab County, Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Lay Zangan.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 9,171 in 2,206 households.[4] There were 9,355 inhabitants in 2,421 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 8,830 in 2,535 households. The largest of its 74 villages was Rostaq (now a city), with 3,598 people.[2]
