Golden Joystick Awards

Les Golden Joystick Awards (également People's Gaming Award) est une cérémonie de remise de prix mondiale pour les jeux vidéo. Ils récompensent les meilleurs jeux vidéos de l'année[1], voté à l'origine par le grand public britannique, dorénavant voté en ligne accessible à tous. En 2018, la cérémonie a 37 ans, soit la deuxième plus vieille cérémonie après les Arcade Awards.

Les récompenses étaient initialement axées sur les jeux PC, mais ont ensuite été étendues aux jeux sur console, en raison du succès des consoles de jeux vidéo telles que le Sega Master System et le Sega Mega Drive au Royaume-Uni.
