How to Beat Vanilla Ghost House in Super Mario World

Having some trouble conquering the Vanilla Ghost House in Super Mario World? The Vanilla Ghost House is a ghost house found in the Vanilla Dome world of Super Mario World. It can be accessed by completing Vanilla Dome 2 through the Giant Gate. By completing this level, the player gains access to Vanilla Dome 3. We'll teach you exactly how to beat it, so you can move on to this next part of the game.

Avoid the two ghosts.

They'll be coming towards you.

Complete a quick series of tasks.

Get the Yoshi coin and jump up to get a "Power Up" from the question box. Then, avoid the Circling Boo Buddies by jumping from ledge to ledge.

Get past the Turn Blocks area.

One of the Turn Blocks contains a vine that reaches to an alternative route. If you have a cape, you can fly up and collect another Yoshi coin and regular coins. Choose the main route and find a question block with a Big Boo.

Advance forward.

You will then find a lone Boo and another pair of Circling Boo Buddies. You'll also find a Coin Block (10 regular coins) and a Yoshi coin on top of the block.

Go through the door.

As you are in a room of Big Bubbles, look for 3 blocks. The middle one contains a "P-Switch". Carry the P-Switch with you, and through the regular door. While avoiding Boos, continue carrying it into you see an outline of coins in the shape of a door. Still carrying the P-Switch, jump up to collect all of the coins.

Drop the P-Switch and jump on it.

You should now be able to enter the door. The Goal Gate can be seen and the level is completed.
