If you want to be a famous writer, young or old, this is the page for you. Dreams can come true, and if you set yourself to it, this article can help. Also, if you want a group of authors with nonstop creative ideas, you can.

Make sure that you really want to be a writer. There is no point in doing all of this work if you still aren't sure about it! Be confident in yourself, and know that you can do it even if you are unsure.

Create a ten page book on a subject you enjoy. When you have finished your book, expand it. Keep on doing this, but with different kinds of stories such as History, Magic, (etc.)

Write as often as possible. Write something every day, even if it is only a nonsense word or a small, free verse poem. If you want to write for TV, and you can afford it, Google 'professional TV advisors' and get help from the professionals.^{[2]

You could also write a journal. It will help you feel how it is to write. Even if it is fiction or non-fiction. You need to get the hang of it!

Submit them one by one. Let your stories be read. Soon after, you'll probably be recognized by a magazine or website.

Never give up! Even if you've been waiting for a while to see if anyone likes your writing, wait! Patience is the key. And if someone doesn't like it, ask someone else to look at it. Maybe a friend or a family member. Don't let your hopes down!^{[3]

Write! Write what you are interested in reading about. Let your characters be real to you, and know them all from Eve. Love your characters like they are your best friends.

Try to expand your vocabulary. When you come across a new word, don't just skip it- learn it! Then apply some new words you've learned to your daily conversation or in your writing.
- You can improve your vocabulary by reading and having conversations.
- You can even read dictionaries. Use an online thesaurus. It is quick and easy to use.
- Attend a linguistics class. It helps to know how languages have formed.

Read as much as you can, you will get a better idea for what kinds of stories work. Next, brainstorm and write down as many ideas as you can think of (i.e summer camp, castle, magic, gods, powers, etc.). Cute a few of them until you have a nice plot for a story. (A girl who can't feel pain has awoken in an apocalyptic type era.) Then write! Let your imagination roam free and others will feel your creativity as well.

It is probably best not to show it to your friends and family. Although they may enjoy reading it, they may not give you and constructive criticism you can work with, and make you overly confident in what you have already written, and closed off to editing and improving.
