If you've ever thought a girl was pretty, you might have the desire to check her out. Instead of staring directly at the girl, however, there are less obvious ways that you can look at her. If you're shy or don't know the girl it's natural to want to steal a glance but you also have to realize that repeatedly staring at a girl is inappropriate, especially if it makes them feel uncomfortable. By hiding your gaze and using misdirection, you can look at the girl without her noticing.

Shift your gaze around. Staring makes it obvious that you're checking a girl out. Instead of keeping your eyes on her, pretend like you're looking around the room naturally. As you're moving your head and eyes around, sneak looks at the girl that you want to check out.
- For instance if you notice her at a sporting event, you can pretend to watch the game but steal looks at her instead.
- If you share the same lunch period you can act like you're looking around the cafeteria or looking at your friends, when you're really checking her out.
