If you don't want to keep the photos you've sent or received while chatting on Google Hangouts, they are easy to delete. On your iPhone, you'll just need to log into your Google Album Archive and remove the photos you don't want to see. Deleting pictures from your Google Album Archive also removes them from your Hangouts chats.

Steps

  1. 1
Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad. The Safari icon looks like a blue compass on a white background. You can find it on your home screen or in an app folder.
  2. 2
Go to your Google Album Archive in Safari. Go to https://get.google.com/albumarchive and tap the blue Go button on your keyboard.

  4. 4
Tap the "Photos from Hangouts" album. This album contains all the photos you've shared in Hangouts.
