This wikiHow teaches you how to remove a linked account from Facebook Messenger on an iPhone or iPad. Removing the account from Messenger won't actually delete the account, it will just remove its login information from this phone or tablet.
Steps

1Open Messenger on your iPhone or iPad. It’s the blue and white chat bubble icon with a sideways lightning bolt inside. You’ll usually find it on the home screen.

2Tap your profile photo. It’s at the top-right corner of the app.Advertisement

3Scroll down and tap Switch Account. It’s the option with a blue key icon. A list of linked accounts will appear.

4Tap ⁝ on the account you want to delete.

5Tap Remove account. A confirmation message will appear.

6Tap REMOVE. The account is now deleted from the app.
