Easily delete your old tweets and retweets on your Android, iPhone, iPad, or computer

This wikiHow teaches you how to delete both original tweets and retweets from your Twitter profile. You can do this on desktop and mobile platforms, though keep in mind that you cannot delete someone else's tweets, nor can you delete their responses to your tweets.

Things You Should Know

  • To delete a tweet, click or tap it, select the three dots, then choose "Delete."
  • You can only delete tweets that you've created yourself—it won't be possible to delete other people's tweets.
  • If you want to delete a retweet from your profile, just click or tap the retweet icon to undo it.

    • If you want to delete a response that you posted to the tweet, first scroll down to the response.
