How to Get the Fishing Rod on Twilight Princess

Getting the fishing rod on Legend of Zelda; Twilight Princess can be confusing at first and also, it's one of the items you have to get in order to advance further in the beginning of the game. Here's how.

Steps

Climb up to the rock where the guy who says "Yo (name) Yo up here!" is.

Jump from rock to rock over across the house and onto another rock until you see another piece of grass.

Pick it up and play the song and the hawk should come.

Using the crosshair, looking forward you should see a monkey jumping on a rock in the distance. Release the hawk at the monkey and the hawk will bring the cradle back to you.

After you have the cradle, jump back across the rocks and go over to the woman standing by the river. Give the cradle to her by following her back to her house.

After she receives the cradle, she'll give you the fishing rod.

Congratulations! You've got the fishing rod!

It depends on the version. I don't know about the Gamecube version, but I assume that it's start or select. On Wii it's minus or plus or 1, depending on what you're trying to access.
