How to Impress an Older Sister Who Is Like an Older Brother

Not all girls go crazy for feminine things. Some big sisters would rather roughhouse than play tea party with their little siblings. If you have a masculine sister, by following these steps, she can be a very good friend to you, and be a very special sibling to grow up with and have throughout your life. Read on from step number one below to understand how to impress a masculine older sister.

Support your sister's hobbies. Go and watch your sister competing in sports, paint with her if she likes art, or play chess with her. Showing interests in your sisters hobbies can make her feel happy, supported, and can possibly impress her. Be sure to show genuine interest in her hobbies!

Give your sister her own special day. There's Mother's Day, Father's Day, and Parent Day, so why not name a day after your sister to impress her? Promise that you will listen to her, at least, throughout the day.

Cook up a complex dish. If your old enough to cook and you have permission, cook her a fancy dish, such as a double-decker ham and cheese sandwich, spaghetti, lasagne, or chicken tortilla soup. Making a fancy dish is often something that impresses older sisters.

Do not question her knowledge. For example, she says not to pet a stray dog, listen first and think why she warned you--the dog could bite or chase you. Not listening to your big sister will make her disappointed in you, not impressed.

Strive to be the best in your classes and have top grades. Siblings love to have a younger sibling to be proud of. Strive to get A's and B's in your class to impress your older sister. However, don't overdo it and try to get better grades than her.

Let her friends be her friends. If you don't have friends, try to find your own. Don't hang around long when she has them at your house or take up their time.

Respect your big sister. Don't take her clothing, borrow things without asking, go through her phone, or read her diary. Aggravating your sister to the point that she chases you all over the house is not a game. Don't do things you know will annoy her. Most importantly, don't do things you wouldn't want done to yourself.

Help around the home. Masculine sisters don't like cleaning up your dishes, sweeping up your messes, or putting away your toys. Take the initiative to take care of responsibility. You can also try to take the initiative to help your sister--that would impress her for sure.
