This wikiHow teaches you cancel a subscription in the App Store on iPhone and iPad. Most subscriptions cancel at the end of the current billing period. You can enjoy the benefits of a subscription until the billing period is over.

Steps

Open the App Store
. The App Store has a blue icon with a white capital "A". Tap the App Store icon on your homescreen to open the App Store.

Tap your profile image. It's in the upper-right corner of the App Store. It has a circular image of the picture you choose for your Apple ID. This displays a pop-up menu for your Account.
- You won't see your profile picture on the Search page.

Tap your Apple ID and enter your password if prompted. It's the first option in the Account pop-up window. It's next to your profile image at the top of the menu. This displays the Account Settings menu.

Scroll down and tap Subscriptions. It's the second to last header towards the bottom of the Account Settings menu. This displays a list of your subscriptions.

Tap the subscription you want to cancel. This displays your subscription details in the "Edit Subscription" menu.

Scroll down and tap Cancel Subscription. It's the red text at the bottom of the "Edit Subscription" menu below the list of subscription plans. This displays a confirmation pop-up.
- If you are using a free trial, the text may read "Cancel Free Trial".

Tap Confirm. It's the second option in the confirmation pop-up. This cancels your subscription at the end of the current billing period.
