Closing Your Cash App Account

Cash Out if you have any funds in your account. You can't close your Cash App account if you have money in it, so Cash Out first. To do this, tap the Banking icon (it looks like a building with pillars outside it) in the bottom-left corner of your screen, then tap Cash Out.

Tap Delete Your Personal Information. You want to choose this option so your information isn't reloaded when you re-open the account. This option makes sure that your personal information is deleted at the same time that your account is closed.

Tap Contact Support. This will let you continue to confirm your action and close your account.
